This was my first romantic suspense that I have ever read, and I have to say I have come to appreciate this genre. I knew what was going on and I was sitting on the edge of my seat as I turned the pages! Definitely a must read from start to finish. But to consider what Kate Johnson had to undergo in this mind gripping suspense with being stabbed several times from a familiar source yet still finding time to fit in a love interest…Well, it is simply romantic! Not to mention the talented, handsome Agent Reed! After all, what goes better with crime, then a little spice of romance??
