8 stories that all deliver in their own way with endings leaving you in wonder on how things happen to people. Circumstances that find people in the most bizarre of situations. I found myself immersed within each of the stories realizing that not all of them have happy endings, but then again that is life. My favorites are Ad Valorem, Rods and Cones, The Extinction of Fairy Tales and Hazardous Cargoes.
