Review:
This is the third book that I’ve read by Chuck Palahniuk and his style of writing is so disturbingly unique that I love it. It was quite entertaining to read the first few lines warning you about reading the book. It made me want to flip the pages and find out why and I did. There is a lot that goes on in this book and when you finally digest everything, you’re pretty much going to ask yourself, “What the hell did I just read?”. This book, to me, makes you really think about your purpose in this life. From what you’re doing with your life down to what you believe you should be doing with your life. This book makes you analyze, in a way, your life and about the good, bad and ugly of your life. What has made you? What has broken you? What has taught you? The people you’ve let in and out of your life, what did their meaning have in your life? These are just the few questions to ask yourself.
