A quick paced prologue of what is to come, perfect, short and sweet. But nothing short of spectacular. The beginning had me drawn into this world of assassins, especially the story about Yrlissa Blackmist. The ground work has been laid out for what is “unexpected”to come.This was just an appetizing treat into this remarkable story that has yet to be told in its full capacity. JD Franx shows that even the short and sweet can be equally enticing, if not better!
