Book Review: Pasta, Pinot & Murder (Willa Friday Food & Wine Mystery #1) by Jamie Lee Scott

Rating: * * * * Book Review: It is an amateur sleuth mystery and rather enjoyable! Not too sure about the protagonist still living with her ex-husband, even if the divorce was amicable, but it doesn’t take away from the overall story. There are a few grammatical errors but nothing that takes away from what you’re reading. Overall, despite minor technical observations it is still worth the read! Book Review: Typhoid Mary by Charlie Dalton

(MINOR SPOILER ALERT) Rating: * * * (MINOR SPOILER ALERT) Book Review: The beginning sets the mood for what’s bound to happen and nothing good will come of it. You get thrown right into a hell-bent reality that doesn’t promise to get better but worse. The only thing missing is that I wanted some more clarification on what really happened with her family. But with the way everything ends I believe I got my answer. And it’s not pretty. Honestly, this deserves ***1/2 stars. I did like the content and the suspense was intense throughout the entirety of the book. Continue reading Book Review: Typhoid Mary by Charlie Dalton

Book Review: Poems for the Moon (Volume 1) by J.R. Rogue

Rating: * * * * * Book Review: I felt a warm sensation from within while reading these poems. Beautiful, heartfelt poetry for the universe. Who knew one could hold such emotions and let them mark the pages? There is something to be felt here. There is nothing more intriguing, or special than the poetry in this collection. Love is felt. Love is taken. And somewhere in between is a brave soul embracing both sides of the spectrum. Continue reading Book Review: Poems for the Moon (Volume 1) by J.R. Rogue

Book Review: Twisted Grin (Stories) by Evan Starkman

Worth the read 100%! If you like crazy, weird, effed up scenarios then this well written concoction is for you. Just make sure you have an open mind and a love for the outrageously wicked. Book Review: For My Beloved: Love Poems by Virginia Martin

Rating: * * * * * Book Review: For my beloved really caters to the notion that love is very much alive, and you finish reading feeling more loved and knowing you should be loved. While I had many favorites this is by far, one of my favorites: “I want someone to find me that looks at me and sees what is inside with his heart all wrapped in love” There are 3 sections to this wonderful love poetry collection: Part 1 (Power of Love/Seeking Love), Part 2 (New Love/In Love) and Part 3 (Past Love/Second Chance Love). This collection … Continue reading Book Review: For My Beloved: Love Poems by Virginia Martin
