780 Minutes/126 Miles for Epilepsy

As May passes on by here comes June with its own set of adventures and challenges to face. The number 1 and 26 can be challenging to some because it represents every 1 in 26 are diagnosed with epilepsy in their lifetime.

This month the Epilepsy Foundation of America has created a reading challenge and a cycling challenge. The goal is to read 780 minutes for the month of June or cycle 126 miles to help raise funds and share awareness. You can still participate in the reading challenge here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3855927584632510 or if you want to cycle as well can read more here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/337846201781510/. To get familiar with the foundation you may read about it here: https://www.facebook.com/EpilepsyFoundationofAmerica.

You will have to register first before you can get access to the groups so check the main page out first and send through messenger. From there follow the prompts to help you set up a fundraiser and record your miles/minutes. Once you’re all set you can start networking with others and see what they’re reading or how many miles they’ve cycled. There are quite a few book suggestions!!! Don’t miss out on an opportunity to help out wherever you can! 🙂
