The Buried. The second book to The Apostles series was better than the first! With on the edge suspenseful plot twists and more romance than ever it’s hard to put down!!

Hatch is The Apostles finest and he suddenly gets hit with a few surprises: 1. He has a 13 year old son named Alex and 2. His ex, Grace is in town. They have a past but right now they need to worry about the present because somebody is burying people and time is running out. There are a lot of clues in place but nothing that connects until the very end! Can Grace and Hatch put differences aside and come together to find the killer before one of them ends up becoming the next buried victim??? Can Hatch step up to the plate and become a father to the son he never knew he had???

The most explosive of the Apostles series, The Blind, is a constant page turner. Once again Shelley has done it! In this suspenseful tale we have Agent Jimenez, a strong willed woman and quite the firecracker teaming up with art expert, Jack Elliot trying to chase after a man who creates art by attaching explosives to woman, thus giving him the title of the Angel Bomber. Time is of the essence and Agent Jimenez is running out of time to stop the killer in his tracks, but not too soon before he makes her his grand masterpiece.

Loved all the twists and turns this story had to offer, not to mention the right amount of romance to bring it all together.

This was my first romantic suspense that I have ever read, and I have to say I have come to appreciate this genre. I knew what was going on and I was sitting on the edge of my seat as I turned the pages! Definitely a must read from start to finish. But to consider what Kate Johnson had to undergo in this mind gripping suspense with being stabbed several times from a familiar source yet still finding time to fit in a love interest…Well, it is simply romantic! Not to mention the talented, handsome Agent Reed! After all, what goes better with crime, then a little spice of romance??
